I said a long time ago I'd post before and after pictures of Isosceles's progress...from the time we found him in the yard, until now as a young fiesty cat. We think he was born some time around early April.

(I hope I'm doing this right!)

This is on July 4th. Isosceles has an upper respiratory infection, two kinds of worms, ear mites, and is probably about a pound underweight. (He gained it all the first week.)

This is just two and a half weeks later after a barrage of medications, a full 4 lb bag of food, and a hefty vet bill.

And this is September 8th. He...uh...always poses, arches his back, etc, for the camera.

He is stunning. Look at that beautiful sleek shiny coat and bright eyes. What a huge difference from that sickly little guy in the first picture!

Thanks, everyone! My fiancee came up with the name. I nearly named him Dante, because he looked like he'd gone through hell (plus I was reading Dante's Inferno at the time and thought it would be a cute name for him.) But my fiancee wanted to name him Virgil, but I thought that implied he was trapped in a miserable place. lol

Although, Virgil is also a pretty cute cat name.

So he came up with Isosceles: he's just not Right. It's a math joke.

Hiiii!!
Hi "neighbor."
East side or west? I currently live in the very near west side in the city. It's not too bad...actually pretty quiet most of the time.
