I have a couple of the book collections which I go back and read from time to time. They are great for laughs and life is way too short to take seriously all of the time. A break from reality is always a good thing.

Gosh, I loved Calvin and Hobbes growing up! Back then, it was more "adult" for me, yet kind of childlike at the same time, so I got a different thrill when reading them. I don't remember reading them in the paper, though; my brother had a couple of book collection things, so that's where I read them. They were cute, yet they had their own type of gore, lol. Lately I've been trying to find a book at any bookstore here, but they don't seem to be around.

Well, you've gone and done it. I just bought three collections from chapters online. Fortunately, I've had a gift card that I can't seem to spend, because I can never find something that I want. Well, now I found something I want (surprising that I never thought of Calvin and Hobbes before), and now I eagerly await a package in the mail! Weeeee!

I always loved Calvin & Hobbes. I bought the hard cover "Complete Calvin & Hobbes" a couple of years ago for my dad for Christmas. It was the best comic strip ever.

I think my favorite two now are "Zits" and "9 Chickweed Lane".....still....they don't compare with Calvin & Hobbes!

LOL...glad I could help.

I'm planning on ordering the rest of the Bloom County books on Amazon.com.
