Hi!

My name is Stephanie, and i am the owner of a older cat named Boo, Female, around 11 years old, and a outdoors cat. My older cat, has always been feisty, when you pet her too much, and would turn around and swing at you. When new people came in, she would hiss at them, and if she could, scratch them. I should also mention, i got her three years ago from a friend who couldn't care for her anymore. So i decided to keep her, i didnt mind the cat being feisty because when she wasnt like that, she was sweet, and very loving. She is SUPER clean, she didnt pee her anywhere, and only eats dry food. I tried to give her wet food, but she wont eat it. She wasnt a outdoors cats at all, but my house here in mayland as a huge outdoors with fences. My mother doesnt like cats being inside, so we saw what happened, and she loved it. She would go outside, and comes back when hungry, and sleep's in my sisters bed at night.
Recently, my boyfriend, knew i wanted munchkin kittens, and i was planning on getting them after my older cat died. He surprised me with two of them for my birthday. They are 4 months now, named Luna ( female) and Sol( male). I separated them off in different room, and i started the introduction slowly. I got them at 8 weeks old. I put the kittens in my room, and they adapted real quickly. They know where their litter is, and know when breakfast and dinner time is. After one month i let them wander the house when boo was outside. I left their thing all over the house , so she knew they were around. After one month and half, i put them in a bag so she could smell them. She hissed at them, but nothing i didn't expect. Then recently, she started to growl at them, and swing at them, while in the bag. She would lash out at them, like in attack mode. The thing that disturbed me was, after she swing at them, she came after anyone that was around them. She scratched me so hard, that i am scared of my own cat. She also recently pee in my sisters bed. I don't know what to do. I know they aren't suppose to get along right away, but is she suppose to growl at me and come after me. She bite my sister in the face when she was sleeping recently as well. I really don't know what to do. I love her, but i am scared. I am scared that she will jump and attack me or someone when she smells them. Some people are telling me to give her away, but shes old, and i dont want her to be put in a cage where she cant go outside, and others are like, put her to sleep, and then bury her body. I dont want to do this as well because i know i am going to have a gulit conscience afterwords. My hands are tied, i dont know what to do.

please help me.

thank you

Boo is acting like any cat whose territory has been "invaded". Toilet problems, behavior changes, etc. are all signs of stress. Bless you for thinking about her first and ignoring advice such as putting her down and giving her away.
The stickies in this forum have different suggestions on introducing cats. The "bag" thing was rather odd.
I do not think it was a good idea. Even the new kittens were stressed out in there and Boo must have sensed it upsetting her more than she already was.
Do not worry, it is not too late and there is no need to be scared. Be patient and go slow in the intros. Start by separating them again. Let Boo hear, smell and see them (as per instructions in the forum stickers) and viceversa. Do the "vanilla" trick or exchange scents. In time Boo will at least tolerate them and hopefully befriend them.
