Ah, so I finally got the automatic kitty litter box delivered. So far I am REALLY happy!!!

At first Ike was just super excited to have another big box to play in...but after I got it set up she started exploring. She kind of got freaked the first time it started making noise...but after batting its sides and sniffing THE ENTIRE THING...she got in and did her business!

And so far it works great...I could see how any bigger cat would be a problem, but she is just the right size

Thats great that Ike likes it!

I've never used one with my boys- but I'm so glad you've got a good review for yours!

How often does it clean? Does the smell still linger where it scoops the poop?

Yeah, I did too...but it seems alright. I bought it off ebay for almost nothing (comparably) and th person who sold it had ALOT of good feedback for lots of similar products...I figure if this one dies on me, it will at least stop Ike from getting litter EVERYWHERE (it has pretty high sides).

It has an interesting system, and I have to be honest, I only skimmed it!
But basically, it senses when shes in there more than 5 secs...then it waits 10 minutes, scoops...then it cycles through scooping every some-odd minutes...or at least after the cat visits...I'll have to read up on it more.

As for the smell, it goes into a pretty tight plastic case...but I can't tell much of a difference YET...Ike's poops are VERY smelly...and I made the mistake of buying scented cat litter...
So it pretty much reeks in my room right now anyways...
(I was too cheap to just get a different kind before i used this...
)
