These are beautiful shirts. And sad. Do you know if there are rescue shelters that benefit from the purchases? Or of rescue orgs that sell cat related items for their beneft (ie fundraising?)

I have a shirt from theanimalrescuesite that says "Save a Stray" on it. Now I'll be surfing the cafepress site, Rob's gonna love me when I whip out the bank card...

EDIT - Each shirt is from a different "Store" and some of them say "profits are donated to..." etc. but some don't mention anything. Some of the stores are cat rescue online stores. If you were interested in a particular shirt, you could probably verify where the proceeds are going.

What a cool selection!

I've been buying my rescue shirts from No More Homeless Pets of late. My favorites are:

A picture of a cat's head with the saying "Single Mother of 50" (spay and neuter your pet). I also have it as a bumper sticker on my car (yes, I get a lot of comments on it).

A picture of a dog's head with the saying "Horny and out of control?" (spay and neuter your pet) - DH wears this one.

"One day you're on the BOTTOM ROW, third cage from the left. The next day you're on TOP of the world. Adopt a pet from a shelter." (with picture of a cat)

Then there is a woman who is a local artist that creates an artistic drawing on behalf of humane societies each year. I have a number of her t-shirts.
