Hey everybody! I have really been enjoying this site and learning so much...
My family and I (DH and 2 sons) fell in love with this little ragdoll girl back in March. We had to wait to get her in June...can you imagine waiting that long?! She will be 6 months next week and we just love her...so to introduce....here's Zoe...
sittin' pretty in the window:

she had to catch a nap on my legs while I was on thecatsite!:

Oh and she Really wants to get on my fish tank!:

A blue mitted Ragdoll......I'm swooning! My Sabina is a blue mink RagaMuffin...it was between her and getting a blue-mitted ragdoll. Your baby is gorgeous and worth all of the waiting!

Hello & welcome to TCS. Zoe is gorgeous, well worth the wait. My Blossom is a 1 y/o mixed breed with the same thick tail as Zoe. Look forward to hearing all about her.

OH she is beautiful I think I'm addicted to Ragdolls LOL Bails is actually a year a half old now. I'm going to have to unload my camera and get some newer pictures up... He's a lot darker now and weighs in at 18 pounds. I decided recently that I am also going to have a blue point. At first I wanted one of each of the seals... but the other day I was at the vets and he had the most beautiful adult male blue point there. So I was thinking maybe I'd get one instead of another seal... and your pictures of Zoe made the deal lol She's so adorable, I have to go with a blue point next. Yeah it's definately worth the wait. Bails was only two weeks old when I picked him, so I hear you... The anxiety is a killer! I went to the breeders and saw that adorable round face and knew he was the one for me
So yes.. thank you for welcoming me to the gang! I'm really happy to be here...
Till next time

Another Ragdoll lover! Welcome! Zoe is really beautiful -she is definitely going to go for those fish! When was she born? My Cosmo was born on March 23 and will be six months on Sunday. I just love him to pieces! I got him from another TCS breeder/member who lives in Maine, and yes, it was so hard to wait!
Can't wait to see more pictures!

Zoe was born on March 25th....so just 2 days apart!
They can be soooo addictive! While we were there picking her up, we ALMOST bought a seal boy that would be ready the following week. I didn't, thinking I better take it slow, but alot of times I wonder about him and I probably should have just done it! Oh well, maybe one day....

OMG! Look at that photo....she is a rock star! Now, here is where I show my ignorance...is she a Ragmuffin? And what is the difference between a Ragmufin and a Ragdoll? (Cosmo wants to know!)

Sorry for the hijack!

I'm starting to feel like a broken record telling everybody what beautiful cats they have but it's true! They're all beautiful.

Thanks to all of you from Zoe!
I feel the same way about thinking they're all so beautiful...but they ARE!

I'm not real sure about all the particular differences in ragamuffins and ragdolls
inbandcat....but I THINK ragamuffins are cross bred with ragdolls and other cats for different color coats and eyes, whereas ragdolls are bred only to ragdolls and have certain coat colors and all have blue eyes. I believe I read the ragamuffins have the same sweet characteristics.

Here are some picture links I googled so you can see how similar they look but in different colors. I love the calicos!

Beautiful pictures! Sabina's breeder is actually on that page...I recognized the picture...it's towards the middle, it's the one with the kitten laying flat on his back in her hand.

You're right, 'Muffins have some accepted outcrosses (for now), although it may only be ragdolls at this point (I know they used to accept persians, but I believe that ended last year). I think they can no longer outcross after 2010. And you are also right about the temperment, they share the same laid back personality. You're also right about the coloring. Ragdolls are pointed cats, whereas 'Muffins come in many colors (although I personally prefer the pointed and the mink).
