Probably at work :(
Well, the worrying began when the boyfriend told me,
"stay out of the kitchen, I'm making your dinner."

**don't have to tell me but once
, I'm thinking**

After hearing a lot of chopping and scraping as if he were mixing something, so I asked,
"What are you doing?"
"Cooking BBQ Chicken for sandwiches"

We had chicken last night so he was using up leftovers in a clever way... cool.

Then I hear, "
! The bread is moldy. Do you want yours on a bun?"

"No. I'll just eat it with a side of chips."

So, here is what my dear, sweet, tried-really-hard boyfriend made me. I'll explain what you see after the picture.

This is me when I seen it.

He put crushed saltines all over the chicken
, garnished with honey mustard, ketchup
and a pepperocini. And a plethera of assorted Doritos.

It must be love cause I ate it. Took a while, but I did eat it.
Except for all the Doritos. And the ketchup/honey mustard. Not sure what that was about.

I must say that the honey mustard and ketchup presentation is quite admirable.
It's cute! And very sweet!

rofl that is hysterical! X) What a nice boyfriend to try so hard!
I love the fancy side of condiments. He made little patterns in them for decoration. That really is adorable.

Reminds me of when my husband was trying to cook spaghetti for the first time and panicked. >_>

Him: "HONEY what do I DO????"

Me: "Uhhh, wait until the water boils?"

I personally like to think that I'm an excellent cook; I have to be, the cats won't do it.

But you remember the old Hardee's/Carl Jr's commercial...

"If not for us, some guys would starve"

I do like the little sunburst designs in the condiments, nice touch

Ahhhh a creative chef in the making
I hope you gave him a big kiss for effort.

My DH keeps forgetting to put salt in the water when cooking pasta; so I usually ask "did you put salt in the water"; his reply - "no, you do it". I hate eating pasta without it being cooked in salt - you can't just put it on after - doesn't taste right.

But DH is a chef (of sorts as he worked in restaurants/fast food) and we both like cooking.

Aww... thats so sweet. Look at all the effort he put into the presentation. Though I must admit, it really make me appreciate the fact that my husband can cook well!

Too funny! He did put a lot of effort into it though and the presentation looks very nice! How was the crushed crackers on chicken? Never tried it myself...
