Going away tomorrow....Wish me luck!!

Well, tomorrow I have to drive 300miles on my own for work. I took on a new job role within the company I work for as a 'Product Trainer'.

It's a 5hr trip and I have to stay for 3 nights. I start travelling back at 5pm on Thursday and need to leave my house at 12.30pm tomorrow. I'm quite anxious about the drive, but luckily I've just had the Srvice and MOT done on my car so hopefully I wont have any car problems

Do you know what I will miss the most.....TCS What am I going to do??

I have a laptop, but it doesn't have wireless internet!! And even if it did, the store I'm working at doesn't have the internet!!

Well not for while you're at work!

Are you staying in a hotel? You could bring a telephone wire and get a dial-up...it depends on how desperate you are.

I missed this site!! (How sad is that!!??)

The course was okay, but it was bloody hard work!!

Rosiemac - I travelled North (I live nearly as far South as you can get - on the south coast of Devon) I went all the way up to York!! On my Own. In a car - a little 1.2l 7 yr old Corsa!!! AAAHHH.

My Sat Nav lost Signal at Leeds and it got confused and made me detour for 50miles!!! It was telling me to get back on the road and I was thinking I AM ON THE ROAD!! Ended up driving a total of 370miles instead of 300miles.

Hotel was nice though. All expenses paid. It cost me £60 in fuel and I get £300 petrol costs!!

Had a good time, now it's back to reality and everyday life
