I feel so ashamed!... I've had mine mostly ready for weeks and just haven't yet put the finishing touches on it. Of course, I might be glad I waited as I've just had another great idea tha won't cost me any more. I also want to "enhance" some of the cat toys.

I actually have a break for Thanksgiving with work and school so if I can I'll send mine then... if not it won't go out till after my semester ends probably in mid-December.

That must be so fun. One of my best childhood memories was my fourth grade teacher. Besides remembering her for wearing go-go boots

she had a rock tumbler and we got to make Christmas presents for our family. I remember that snowflake obsidian I picked, I don't recall what I made with it, but I remember the stone. To a child, it was magic to make something so beautiful out of a rock! I still smile to this day when I see one.

I've been wrapped up in so many different things these past few weeks it's been hard to sit down at the ... er ... equipment i need to assemble my main gift. I have bought everything else i need...

I even found THE most perfect wrapping paper... heh heh heh.

After this weekend, I'll have four days straight with no work to write and work on my SS project... plenty of time to do everything i need to get done. Now i just need to get to 10,000 words on this years NaNoWriMo novel today (I'm at 5K, I can do this, really). and I'll be good. Then I can go unearth the equipment needed.

It shouldn't take but a week from Texas to get here... Maybe a week and a half due to the holiday shipments! I'll wait for it though!
