So yeah...lots of preparing for that!

So, to my recipient...don't expect anything in the next couple of weeks.
Ok... I can wait for it!

I tried getting this thing done before November, but the MEN dealing with the data I needed didn't get their collective acts together until this week. Deadlines are our FRIENDS! So, I can go back and forth between writing and my SS project. I'm ADD, so I can't sit at one thing for terribly long.

It'll get there by Christmas, that's all I can promise!!

It's alright, I like stuff for Christmas! I can wait for it!

(hoping I don't look like a twitt when it comes to guessing who had me even though I know I suck at trying to figure it out!

I finished the handmade part of the SS present. They turned out even better than I thought they would. I hope the SS and the cats like them as much as I do. I loved the handmade presents I got last year, they were really special.
I need to wrap and pack. I'm trying to figure when to ship, I don't want it to get there too early.....

For those of you who have already packed your gifts- what did you use to make the inside of the box pretty/ and to keep things from breaking? Wrapping paper, tissues paper, bubble wrap? Any cute ideas packaging that will also keep things from breaking/etc???
I've already wrapped everything- but i need to package it all in a box so i can mail it out soon!

I packed most of my gifts in a decorative gift box with tissue paper and bubble wrap and then bubble wrap around the outside of the box.

If you are sending overseas it would be best not to individually wrap the gifts because of customs.

Wow! People are shipping now? I have finished my "people" presents and even though I went over the budget, I think the gifts don't look like much....
So, I am not sure what else to add to the gifts. I do have to get the cat/cats goodies to add to the box and then I will start wrapping - I will wrap the presents and then put them inside another box with bubble wrap. And ship in December. Sorry, SS recipient, I have all ready checked with Fedex to find out when I have to ship so that you get the box a bit before Christmas!

Thanks!! I'll have to do that! (my ss's in the states, so that shouldn't be a problem!

Some are going overseas and in order to get there before Christmas they need to go early. Precious years, I wrap individually and then pack them well in a box, haven't had a need to bubble wrap or such, but may this year as there are some breakables in some packages I am shipping. I ship to a few places each year!
