While braving the wilds of the store this morning (getting Rx filled) I shopped around and found something sooooooooooooo neat - I got one for myself.

Unfortunately, it means SS will not get as much chocolate.

Me and DH discussed when mine will be shipping out just last night! Oh, I so hope that ___________, who lives in ____________, really likes everything I got for her/him! I had a blast picking out stuff! I will also be seeing how much more stuff I can stuff into the package before it goes!
Make it all count!!!

I've already sent my gift! I had to take out some chocolate 'cos of the weight (I'm scared to admit that). Please don't hurt me! The chocolate was yummy too.

How much Halloween candy did you save the neighborhood kids from?

Oh... I'm just in MI, you could have waited a few more weeks to ship... but it's ok, I'll go over to the dark side as soon as it arrives! I wouldn't want the chocolate to go bad!

I hope to be shipping things out soon. I'm still looking for a few more little things... I feel that the package is skimpy.
I just hope I've chosen the right things for my person.

I've been SUCH a scatter brain the last few weeks. I need to get my rear in gear!

Since the last I posted in this thread I've made absolutely 0 progress. We had a death in my hubby's family and things just haven't slowed down! Fortunately, I only have a little more to do before I ship. I'll likely ship as soon as it's ready... or I might wait and bake a few cookies and send it in the first weeks of December....

I would like to bake something (from a Hungarian recipe that was my great grandmother's) for my SS recipient. I may or may not be shipping outside of the U.S. Do I need to label the package outside that foodstuffs are inside?

Wishing I were anywhere but here
I finally found an item my SS collects!
I was so happy to finally be able to find it and know they will like it. I just have to get a few more things and it will be ready to ship right before Thanksgiving.

If you are shipping outside the US, you will have to declare it on the customs label. I know some other members have sent homemade goodies to other countries, so they can probably best tell you how to declare it.

I don't know *what* I'm sending yet, although I have a few ideas, but I think I know *how* I'm sending it, which is a unique surprise all to itself.

Since Karen answered you as to shipping outside of the US, if you are sending inside of US, if you are worried that your SS may not jump over to the dark side and it may go bad, I would put on it perishable or home baked goods inside just to let them know. Then you could also label that part of the package if it's all wrapped so they can open that part but still wait on the not perishable or yummy parts till closer to christmas if that's their prerogative.
