I'm having so much fun learning about my SS. I've got so many ideas I don't know where to start now.

I've been trying to find an answer for that, and haven't been able to! Hopefully someone in Canada knows.

Hmmm, I'm not sure, but I'd be really surprised if you couldn't. Canada/US don't seem to be so tough with the restrictions. I think you'd be OK unless they have sniffer cats working at the post office now!

Could you check with the post office - U.S. should know the rules and regs!

I don't see it as being a problem, I have gotten cat nip toys off of ebay that were shipped from the states. As long as it is clearly listed on the customs tag what it is it should be fine.
The sniffer dogs wouldn't react to it, and the only thing that might be a deterrent is if it had been grown by you outside, then there might be a question about the safety we do have a flora and fauna guideline but this applies more things carried throw customs then mailed...

The questions isn't for me actually, but it is for someone that is growing it themselves.

From my experience sending things to Canada, I wouldnt do it. Packages I have sent have been opened and checked and unless the customs officer had cats, a loose bag of catnipt might not be perceived as catnip

I would probably be cautious also and not send it, unless you can confirm with some official that it is ok. Then make sure it is clearly labelled.

Do not use UPS to ship to Canada. I heard they charge outrageous fees for paperwork to cross the border.

Is anyone else done with their shopping? I finished mine last night- i was planning on wrapping mine today. (i got soo excited i couldn't wait
) Over the week i plan to make cute little hints to go with my package. I think i may wait to mail it until late Oct so it gets there sometime in Novemeber and beats the Christmas rush. Anyone else doing this? (in the US that is).

So whoever gets their SS package first, there's a good chance Nikki is your SS!

Will that give it plenty of time if i mail from inside the US you think? I didn't want it to get delayed in the Christmas rush.

I just checked to see where you are shipping to
and even if you mail it December 1st there should be no problem.

I did the same thing. Arrived in plenty of time.

Nikki, I hope you have a strong willed person to hold out until Christmas if you mail it that early to someone inside the US. The pressure is so great to open the box!
If they do cave and open it early they have nothing to look forward to in December.
