anyone near columbia tn? need help

Hi everyone

I'm not sure I'm allowed to post this so let me know.

A friend of mine is trying to get a little puppy out of shelter very desperately. The puppy is in Columbia, TN and she lives in NC. She is racing against time because this puppy is scheduled to be put down She talked to the shelter and they know she wants the puppy but she's still running out of time.

She is trying to coordinate getting time off work and getting there but is confident she can get there within the next week.

She would pay for the puppy, for food and supplies if someone could just get her and keep her until she can pick her up.

So if anyone is near Columbia TN or willing to go there, please let me know.

One option is to ask the sheter if one of their employees or volunteers could board the animal for your friend until your friend could get there. This could be very expensive in that you would need to overnight a money order - and it may take a lot of money.
Some shelters would rather have you pay them to keep the dog or cat until you can get there - they start charging from the day you fill out the paperwork. Usually not too expensive.

Another option would be to ask a rescue group in the area to pull the animal for your friend. It may work if your friend could be there soon.
