Laundry Help

Okay...

I just got bedding in the mail and I checked the care label because I want to wash it before putting it in the crib. HAND WASH ONLY??????


You've got to be kidding me right????? For a crib... right... poop... spit up... and who knows what else a baby does...

Any easy way to do this??? It's A LOT of things to launder....

I don't know what your washing machines are like there but in the UK we have a setting for a delicate wash.

Is there anything similar on yours?

Put your machine on delicate and use woolite.

Yes. We do have a delicate setting.

Delicate wash should be fine then because it's just a very short wash in warm water. I put all my pure wool garments on that setting and their fine

Great, thanks! I will pick up some woolite at the store today and work on washing the bedding tonight. Hopefully everything is colorfast so nothing bleeds.

I'm still pretty darn shocked that they would do hand wash only for baby things.

Should I hang these things out to dry? It's really humid here so it will probably take all day... I might need to wait until the sun is actually out before I wash this stuff. Monsoon season is really dragging on this year.

I usually hang mine out to dry naturally.

It is strange as well having baby stuff to hand wash, especially blankets?.

Well the comforter won't be in the bed with him, but the bumper will. I'll just have to be careful
