This is my furbaby Geronimo.

I tried to upload pics of all my furbabies in one post, but it's not working! I guess I'm using too much space or something.
I'm still learning all this technical computer stuff, so please forgive my ignorance!!
I'm hoping I can post the pics of the rest of my furbabies, but I'm guessing I'll have to do so one at a time??

The pics are not the best of what I have: these were taken when my son was visiting last March, and he sent me the disc. I plan on getting better pics that I can post, now that we have a computer! Unfortunately, there isn't a pic of Spencer - I don't know why, b/c I know there were some taken of him when my son was here. I guess my son didn't load ALL the pics onto the disc he sent me....

Wish me luck in posting my other furbabies' pics!!

HELP! I don't get it!! I tried to post more pics, but no go!
It says I'm using too much storage or something - but yet, I've seen others post a lot more than one pic of their furbabies in just one post!

I'm totally confused!
Could someone please help an ignorant computer "dummy"??

Thanks!

No, I'm uploading them from my computer....

I've tried e-mailing pics before too, to some of my friends & family, but I haven't had much luck w/ THAT, either! Sometimes it works, and sometimes I get a message saying that my e-mail address isn't recognized - whatever THAT means! I've had the same internet service for over 5 years now (although my internet service used to be thru WebTV before we got the computer), so I don't understand HOW I'm not "recognized"?!!

Life was so much simpler when I had WebTV!

There HAS to be a way - I just know it!!

Thanks for offering, Rosiemac!
I may have to take you up on your kind offer!

Use photobucket.com, and be sure to click the link that says "resize" and pick the "message board size". Then you should be able to upload quite a few. Just right click on the photo you want, choose the "view image" option and it will open JUST your image in a new window. The text in the address bar of this window will be something like :

http://i223.photobucket.com/albums/d...g?t=1189816708

copy this URL into the box that pops up when you click the "Add Picture" link on TCS...and bingo bango! Picture!

I hope that wasn't TOO confusing! lol

And Geronimo is awesome!!! So pretty!

I posted that thread I told you about too! Go post in it!

Yeah, I'm confused, alright!

I think I have an idea what you're talking about, and could probably figure it out - BUT, being the computer dummy that I am, I still haven't figured out how to copy & paste on this darn thing yet!
THAT I know how to do on my WebTV!!

If I set up an account on photobucket, I can then upload pics from my computer to there, and then transfer them??

That'll take me another year to figure out!

Another computer dummy question....

If I was able to upload (or whatever the technical term is!) an unlimited number of photos from photobucket to TCS, how come I wouldn't be able to do so from my computer to TCS??

As for the copy/pasting...are you on a Mac? Or a PC?

The photo's on your computer are in a pretty large format...by resizing them (through photobucket) OR saving them as another sort of file (.jpg...through MSPaint) it makes the size smaller. Its tricky: resizing or reformatting can make the picture only slightly smaller physically, or not smaller at all....BUT it makes the picture take up less space.

Uhh...I know its difficult to understand! Let me know if you are on a Mac.

go to photobucket, make a account.
sign in. After you sign in to the right of the screen
you will see upload to : (username)

leave it set to images from my pc click the browse button, then you will need to locate the pics you want to post. After you pick the pic you want, click the button that syas upload.

After you that you want a few ,seconds to mins after it gets done you should see you pic you may depending on how big, want to resize it, you can do this buy clicking the edit button righ about the pic. then the resize button. best is to set it to website,email(320x240)

now, you will see several lines below the pic, to post just click on the one that says
img code it should say copied after you click on it, then go to a TCS post and right click your mouse button and paste the link you copied from photobucket

just play around with it, and you get the hang of it

Thanks for the input!
I'll give it a shot, but not tonight! I've been on the computer just about all day, and am getting bugged-eyed & tired!

Any other advice from you "experts" would be greatly appreciated!!

I tried to e-mail a pic to you, Rosiemac, but I don't think it went thru
I got that "error" message again, and I just don't understand why!

Thanks for trying to help, though!

The black fluffy furbaby is Maverick, the fluffy orange-colored one is Gabriel, and the fat, fluffy, tan-colored baby is Winchester!

Thanks again so very much for your help, kindness, & generousity, Rosiemac!
It is greatly appreciated!!

Maybe I'll figure out how to do all of this on my own - one of these days..

Your kitties are beautiful!

Once you learn to use Photobucket it will be a peice of cake
I didn`t know how to do it either for ages and it wasn`t until a little while ago that I learn`t how to copy and paste but photobucket has the thing to do it for you.

Everytime I wanted to post pictures I was copying the codes by hand and then typing them in

You`ll get the hang of it

I didn't get a chance to try the Photobucket today, but I will definitely be checking it out!
I think I'll get the hang of it, after I play around w/ it a little. I've been doing pretty good so far w/ the other computer stuff!
