Anyone have pictures of there various feed stations and shelters that have built or bought? I am looking at building one for my house since I have several TNRs that I feed and I am looking for ideas.

Yeah I saw that one. I tried searching for a couple of terms such as shelter and station but I came back with so many unrelated threads that it was a pain to go through.

There's no place like home
It's dark or I'd go take a picture of mine. It's very simple construction. A piece of plywood about 4'x4' that is covered by indoor/outdoor carpet and set on top of 2"x2" legs so that it looks like a low table. The cats will lounge on top of it on sunny days as they like the carpet. The food is protected from the weather. In the winter, I will add a piece of indoor/outdoor carpet draped over the sides to keep the wind out. I keep it on my deck up against the house.

I don't worry about animals coming up to eat from it because 1) I have a fenced yard that keeps dogs out and 2) skunks and coons don't come that close to the house.

I pretty much have the same set-up as Amy. Down with the 8 ferals, I have a plastic dog house that I feed their dry food in. On top of it lays a piece of plywood that covers the house and is held up by a carrier on the other side. It takes up a good portion of their porch but the food is out of the weather and so are they when they eat. In the winter I put hay under the plywood and inside the doghouse.

For the ones by my place, we have a storage shed I cleaned out and we feed them inside there. There's blankets and what not for them and the food stays dry.
