A little background...I got laid off at the beginning of August. It was a bit of shocker and a blow to the ego but I took it in stride. A couple weeks later the headhunters started to call. One job in particular got my interest, so I decided to pursue it.
I thought it was going to be for an Analyst position. Well, today I got 'unofficially' offered the position of Assistant Vice President. I'm floored an ecstatic. They stated that the official offer will come in one to three weeks, they just didn't want to keep me on the fence.
I'm so excited! I had prayed hard for the right job to come along and now I feel like I'm getting showered in blessings.
