I have to rush Bickford to the vets this afternoon. He was moaning last night and only picking at food. He is walking around and using the litter box but I am worried. Unfortunatly since I had to take yesterday off for something else I had to come in today. I am so worried I can't concentrate on anything else and it was around this time last year that I lost my Freckles. I can't go through that again. Sorry if I'm rambling and thanks for the help.

Thanks for the vibes! Bickford is at the vets. He was extremly constipated and had to be sedated to get an ennema. I could hear his screaming from the back of the clinic. I have to pick him up in about 45 minutes and I know he won't be happy with Meowmy. But at least I know he's OK.

What a relief for you .... did the Dr say why they thought he had become constipated and suggest any food changes?

I had changed his dry diet from Royal Canin Indoor 27 to Light 37, then switched back when he refused to eat the light food. That's when the trouble started. The vet put him on Science Diet W/D. He came in and ate everything in the bowl! He wouldn't let me dry him off or anything. He's back to his regular routine - sleeping on my bed, resting on the back of the couch - all the things he was uncomfortable doing before.
