Kitten smells

I just got a 3 month old Bombay kitten. She seems to groom herself ok but I'm afraid to say her backside gives off a rather offensive odor. To be fair it's only noticeable when she walks around with her tail raised. When she's sitting on my lap with her tail down I can't smell a thing. This is my first cat so I was just wondering if this was normal.

It could be the food you are feeding, could be worms, or impacted anal glands. Have a vet check her out ASAP.

And we need pictures !

As far as food goes I was feeding her Royal Canin but recently switched to Blue Buffalo. I guess I'll have a vet check her out. Is there some site that searches for recommended vets in an area? I don't have my camera with me but I'll be sure to post pics when I get it back. Thanks!
