Honey got one of her soft claws stuck in the (tightly woven) loop large area rug and was screaming to be freed. It was a pain to release her. The threads got wound on top of the cap and would'nt come off.
I recall someone else having a scare like this.
I need to know if there's a way to remove them when the cap is halfway down the nail. It seems this is when the likelyhood of it happening would be.
I don't feel good knowing this could happen again. I'd remove the rug if I could but I can't. That seems to be the only threat in my home with these.
Please be carefull and remove (if you can) anything they can get their caps stuck into. Knitting, loop rugs, crocheted blankets and the like.
