Update on Maddensmom's Grandfather...

Last night Keysha asked me to update everyone.
I recieved a text message about an hour ago.
It says "he is in recovery now. The Dr said the surgery was more aggressive then expected. They took out the entire lung and some small pieces of the tumor that grew into it. We haven't been able to see him yet but the Dr said he's doing well. I'll update again later when we know more but so far so good.
Our biggest worry is if that lung will take over or not."

Please keep him in your prayers!

I hope he has a speedy recovery!

"We just got to see him and he's doing as good as can be expected. He is even breathing on his own and the Dr's expected him to be on a respirtator for the first couple days, so that's good.

Thanks for the update ... I know of a man who has one lung and has done wonderfully with it, I hope this is the case with her Grandpa Many prayers

That's probably best, to go ahead and do all they can to minimize the chance of a recurrence. I'm so glad he's doing well! Many hopes for his complete recovery...
