Hello!
Well, I've taken Nimbus to the Vet twice and he's been treated for ear mites each time...but I believe he still has them!! Both times he was treated with Acarexx. The second time, they also treated him with Frontline to kill the mites outside of his ears. However, it has been two weeks since his last visit and I notice he still scratches occasionally and there is a little brown/crusty stuff left in his ears. He is also still sneezing (the Vet said it was just a minor cold that would go away).
Anyway, I won't be taking him to his new vet (I moved back to school) for another week or so. Is there any harmless home remedy for earmites I could try until then? Vegetable/Olive oil? What's the best way to apply it? Could he be suffering from something other than earmites?
