My crazy husband...

Last night my husband found something new for us to try. http://www.geocaching.com/

Now, I'm not looking forward to this. The last time we went on an adventure like this we ended up in the middle of a corn field yelling at each other. The ominous trend in this one is that it involves a techno-gaget. I'd also like to give you some back ground. My husband failed land navigation in the Army. That's right. He failed. Meaning that I am incharge of the techo-gaget.

Oh, he also said he's going to get a stick to protect me from badgers. Are there even badgers in Ohio?

Sorry, I couldn't help myself. This is something that I could see happening to me and my hubby too. He is terrible at navigating and I'm actually pretty good and yet he'll tell me how terrible I am when he's the one that gets us lost. He gets us lost because - are you ready for this? Because I wasn't reading the map right and he knew I wasn't so he didn't listen to me and because of that he got lost. My fault - right!

I don't know if there are badgers in Ohio their might be killer gophers though

Seriously though, that looks like a fun trip but I do see the potential for a family "discussion".

I'm confused. Is this an actual car trip where you have to find your way using GPS in the car or is this a game that you play at home on your computer?

Neither. You are in NATURE (ewwww.... bugs) and trying to find a coin or something.

It seems like a lot of work for very little payoff. A lot could go wrong.

My husband reads TCS. Don't encouage him.

I've heard of that; it sounded weird. It was featured a couple of weeks ago in an episode of Law & Order. I'm sure it will work out better for you than the participant in that episode.
