Hi folks, long time lurker, first time poster. I just wanted to say that this site is fantastic. I always came here for tips on my cat, Timmy. He was a DLH who I unfortunately had to give up this morning. I had the pleasure of having him for 3 years. My mom somehow developed allergies to him so I took him to the Arizona Humane Society. He's the sweetest, most docile cat and I'm absolutely positive he will find a good home. Here's a picture of him.

How heartbreaking for both of you! This must be very difficult for you to bear. Of course, your mom's health is primary, but my heart goes out to you and Timmy. I know it will be a few years from now, but when you get your own apartment make sure you're allowed to keep a cat. Of course, you'll never forget Timmy.

It's a shame you had to give Timmy up but your mom has to come first. We'd love to see a picture of him. There is a size requirement for pictures here if you are planning to upload it from your computer. You can resize the picture using a photo editing program like Paint Shop, make sure the picture is smaller than 400 x 400 pixels and use jpeg as the file extention. If you need further help, please let us know.

Welcome to the site, and I'm very sorry to hear that you had to give up Timmy. Of course, your Mom's health has to come first. I do hope that he will find another wonderful home as full of love as the one you gave him.
