Tiger!!! Angel!!! Bad kitties!

You know the headdress that Arwen wore in the last Lord of the Rings movie at the coronation? Also called the Butterfly Crown? Well, I've been spending HOURS making that to sell on eBay. They fetch a pretty good price when it actually looks like a replica and with Halloween coming up!
It's still in the construction faze but...
I thought I had cat-proof the table by making sure they couldn't jump on it from anything else, tucked in the chairs and scolded them whenever they had that "I'm going to jump on it" look. Well, last night, somebody jumped on the table, took my main piece into the kitchen, broke a third of it off and slid it under the oven!
AGH!!!!
I spent an hour trying to make that one piece stay on good with the epoxy!

It doesn't help when one of them tries to comfort you by snuggling in your lap and then farting the worst stench ever!

Anyone else have one of these moments?

Oh poor honey. I've found that when I think I've made everything cat proof, they prove me wrong. It is a good thing that they are so darn cute (even with the whiff).

Were you able to fix it?

Most of it but I may start it all over soon if we get a solder iron. OMG that would make it look sooo much better and sturdier! I've been ooking at one from an eBay store but we don't have the luxury at the moment to buy one even though it's $20.
And yes, Tiger's little 'whifs' are... Ugh! No amount of cuteness can lighten that!

Oh, Update! I don't know if any of you remember this but ever since hubby and I moved to the DC area, the military's financial office has been messing up our pay and BAH, making us go into debt and max out our credit for the rent... well, they finally started paying us back!!! We got a small head start and we think we now got things under control to work our way out of debt!
Turns out, some people on the Catsite's suggestion to write a letter to the newspaper scared the living daylights out of the higher ups. Not that the newspaper took me seriously, I didn't get an answer back. It was hard though for my husband at first since they took it out on him in the beginning but now, we're in the clear! No body got 'hurt'! And we got paid!

Mom and I worked a couple of weeks on a wedding dress and veil for my cousin's fiancee. We had finished it and placed it on the manniquin when one of our kittens decided to go on a tear. He flew by the dress and veil and missed it by a hair's breadth! (And caused 2 cases of near heart failure.)

It was quickly bagged up and we called the bride to come pick it up.

OMG, did you ever tell your cousin? And what would've happened if he did tear it?! Kitty better watch out for bridezilla!

Thanks! It was hectic though. We made our last payment for the September rent last payday with the Travel Pay that was given back to us. I think we overpaid about $30 but that should be okay, right? All in good favor, I guess.
The crown took another beating again even when though was covered and tucked under a sheet! Tiger seems to like to chew on metal.
I swear my cats are psychotic.
