I posted that link for a reason.
For real, the first time I heard about it was from a facebook group.
Here are some major questions about it;
Why weren't the students who hung the nooses charged with hate crimes (as they certainly could have been) or given more than a three day in-school suspension?
Why did a school official tell the black students he could "end their lives with the stroke of a pen"?
Why didn't the police start patrolling the school further?
Why was a white kid who pulled a gun on a group of black kids not charged with anything? Though the kid who stole his gun and took it home is an idiot for doing so, it seems like they both should have been charged.
Why didn't a school that had such a thing as a "white tree" try and do something before now to help end the segregation, even if it might be self-imposed?
And most of all, why are different people who did basically the same thing (get in a fight about all this, without any weapons) get charged with simple battery if they're white, and attempted murder if they're black?
