Well a few days ago I found a rash on Lilly's tummy, well nipples. I thought maybe its natural, being a first time mom and just weaning kittens not long ago. Because she's still pretty full even though they were weaned about 1-2 weeks or more ago. But my vet said first time moms do that all the time. Today she wouldn't stopped licking and biting her self where the rash was. So concerned fur mom me rushed her to the vet! After 20mins there, my vet said she has an infection that is causing a spreading rash. I guess she wasn't still holding milk.. she had swelled up nipple
. So I got a anti-bioticâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s for her, and a liquid cream (like baby oil) to reduce the itching at stuff. She said if it would of continued to spread she could of got very ill and the swelling could of moved to her heart and would kill her O_O. Were hoping swelling will reduce and the rash will clear in 1-3 weeks time. If not I have to take her back in for a x-ray and blood test. To make sure there is nothing else or that the swelling is reducing blood flow. Its awful because the stuff I have is in a dropper and must be inserted in the mouth. If she didn't have soft claws on I would be scratched to death lol. It takes my husband and me both to hold her down, open her mouth, insert dropper and make sure she swallows all of the medicine.

She gets it 2x a day and I rub on the liquid crap every time the itching and biting comes back around. Its going pretty well, but she is dizzy and exhausted a lot. She's going back to her hollow stage, when I first got her she was exhausted and would hide from you and not want any people related attention. Now thatâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s back, every time I go to pet her she hides behind something
. Then again its either this or pray she doesn't DIE, from not being treated! I'll keep everybody updated on how the treatment goes. -KittyPaws

Yup it sure is. I got some pain killers today and next week I have to bring her back in for an exam. But other than that she is doing so well. Just a little uncomfortable but with the cream, and pain killers she is more relaxed.
