I'm so sorry about Tigger
It's such a shock when they go in for something routine and something unexpected takes place. RIP Tigger.

The other three live in North Carolina with my parents still. They were "family cats", so when I moved out, they stayed. I pretty much was "adopted" by Tigger when I moved in with my fiance in '05.

Last night Rob told his mom that there will be little fuzzballs in the near future, because he cant wait until we get married to have another kitty.

Its a little easier today, but we both are still pretty miserable
When I got to work, I found out that a guy who works in my department also had to leave early yesterday to put one of his cats to sleep.

Very sorry for your loss, you can take comfort in the fact that she was well loved during her time with you, and brought a great deal of happiness to you. She will live in your hearts forever.

I am so sad for you. I can only imagine the pain you feel. Its a special memory you'll keep in your heart for life, and that is the important thing. As long as you remember, Tigger will go on forever. Bless you, sweetie!!!

also, having new little furry bundles of love helps ease the pain of loss. at least, it seems to help me.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your little cat. She sounds like a real lovable character. Was she your fiancee's cat before you moved in?

Would the new kittens live with you while you wait for your house to be built?

It is extremely hard losing a beloved furkid so suddenly. Will keep you in my thoughts.

RIP sweet Tigger

Yeah, she was my fiance's cat for the first 12 years of her life. I moved in in 2005 and she "adopted" me. I didn't have a job for 7 months after I moved, so while I'd be posting resumes, she'd lay in my lap all day and get pet. Then she pretty much became just "our" cat because we were the ones taking complete care of her, feeding her, bringing her to the vet, etc.

And yes, the new kittens would live with us while waiting for the house to be built. It most likely will be on the same property his dad owns now, so they wouldn't be traveling very far.

We got our sympathy card in the mail today from the vets
They also sent the refund check yesterday for the boarding fee she never incurred. But as Rob said - they can have the money, we just want our Tigger back
