I told hubby last night that this was a warning or wake-up call and he agrees. He didn't believe me that you can walk within feet of a frightened pet and never know it is there. He was sure that if he called Bijou would come. Even after we found him he wouldn't come out from under the bush, John had to go in and lift him out. So now hubby has had a good lesson and I do believe things will be different. I think he still wants to let Bijou be outside with him when he's out there working around, but he'll bring Bijou in when he comes in from now on.
I'm sure the prayers and come home vibes from TCS and the wonderful folks here helped tremendously. Thank you all for your kindness and caring.
