I am easily amused at times.
Oh....naming is a GREAT thing. If you post pictures, I'm sure members here would be more than willing to help you.

Then simply don't offer any explanation at all and you will remain honest.

I may sound dishonest about this but my philosophy is simply this: I'll do what I can to save the life of a homeless animal. It does no harm to stretch the truth with a little white lie if it saves a life. In this I'm being completely honest.

The tune by Chris Cagle comes to mind, the one used for the blue collar comedy tour . . . .Don't ask no questions, I wont tell no lies.

The planned spot for the trap is my balcony. That is where I have been feeding it, and it kinda private, as there is tinted glass there as well. But there are nosey peeps in the building and ones that need to know everything even if it is none of their business.

Well, I am comtinuing to work on this little one. Having a little issue getting ahold of my vet right now to see if they have a trap I can use. Mondays are prolly busy for them. Might have to take a walk down the road instead. Is there a way to build my own????

You can buy one usually at a feed store.

Well, I just found a place that has raccoon traps for sale. Cost will be $69 for a small one, or $99 for a large one. The vets refer me to AC&C to trap, and that I cannot control the future. At least this way I have a say. Looks like a purchase is coming in my immediate future. Then after I get the trap, I head to KFC , lol.

Well, I have been checking the by-laws for where I live, and I will not legally be able to keep the animal. As I already have 2 cats here, I would be in violation of the city ordinance for cats. At least my intentions are good, I might try to rehome the cat, or just release it. Not too sure.
