Just wanted to introduce myself to the group. My name is Lisa and I live in BC Canada with my boyfriend and my 2 kids Sneezer and Pepper. You can see a picture of them at my site.

Brand new to this forum and would appreciate any opinions you may have on the site I have created for my babies. Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance.

Hello and welcome.

I am on my way to look at your site right now.

OK - I think the site is great, the only thing I do not like is that when you click on the links at the top of the page they open up in a new window each time. Hope this helps, you can email me at spikeadelika@yahoo.co.uk if you need any help with your site.

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

As far as the names, Sneezer had a cold when I brought him home from the SPCA (actually all the cats at the SPCA had a cold) hence his name. And Pepper had a sister named Salt so that's how he got his name. Kinda neat how they go together though. They really are 2 peas in a pod. Sneezer even bathes Pepper all the time.

Thanks again for the comments and the warm welcome and you'll probably see a lot more of me around here.

Howdy neighbour! I actually spent the first 8 years of my life in Penticton and then moved to Westbank till I was 18, them moved into Kelowna. My folks currently live in Peachland and my grandma still lives in Penticton. We used to live on Cossar Ave. behind the Plaza and I went to Carmi Elementary. Can't remember much details as I moved at 8, but I do love Penticton and still visit my grandma there whenever I can. I think Kelowna and Penticton are pretty much the same weather wise, but Kelowna has grown sooooo much, Westbank too. But good old Peachland stays pretty much the same.

Have you lived there long?

i was born on Vancouver Island but i have lived in Penticton
since i was about a year old! I am 20 now

i think that's amazing, us meeting here & being so close,
i've never met anyone so close to me - usually people i meet
are from Montreal, Vancouver, Quebec and so on!

my sister & brother live in Victoria, and i used to live
there as well - i'll be moving back out next Spring.

my parents live here in Penticton along with most of my

we go to Kelowna all the time to shop & see the movies that
get there way before they get here

I hope to see Penticton expand more, as Kelowna did, it
would be nice to see more activity here to have
more things to do for the younger kids.

Welcome lisayi!

Glad to see you hear. You already know what I think about your site as I put it into the links page of TCS and I don't put just any site on that page!

I hope you like it here! Looks like you've already found a neighbor I should go and look for BC on the map - I'm afraid I don't really know where it is (except it's in Canada , so I'm guessing up in the cold north...)

Hey Anne where are you? Kelowna (and Penticton) are only a couple hours from the border so we're actually southern Canada if there is such a thing! We actually have some of Canada's warmest weather here so it's not too bad. Don't get me wrong, we've had some nice dumps of snow here as well, but generally pretty mild. We actually have some 40degree plus summer days (celcius).

I just want to thank everyone again for the warm welcomes. Have been to several forums and NEVER had such a greeting.

Well, I'm nowhere near that border

I live in Israel...
