Four orphaned kittens.

We got a call at the rescue this morning, from a company in another city. There was a momma cat that was dropped off there a bit ago that they took in... and on August 18th she had 4 kittens.
Well yesterday she was wandering around and got stuck in a piece of machinery and was killed.

So now I am hand raising these little boogers. They take the bottle very nicely, and prefer it over a syringe. And in all 4 years of me fostering bottle babies, I've never had one that preferred the bottle.

Carmen and Lewis are the 2 orange/white males.
Ratatouille is the tabby
and Kisses is the tabby with white.

I want bottle babies again!

I missed having bottle babies too.. my set set were last summer! Which is a good thing.. I suppose. Suprised that we didn't get calls on any until now though.

I've had 8 official bottle babies this summer. One more that was just a pain to get to eat anything! I enjoy it, so long as there aren't more than 3!

I've never taken more than 3 at one time, so this may be interesting. Though so far they seem to be a lot easier to feed than the 12 day olds I got last summer (Cappy was one of them!)

Awwwwwww...SO CUTE! Love how they are all different.
I just successfully weaned FIVE bottle babies I've had since about one week. So, I'm in no hurry to start that again!
