Besides that, I hope you all welcome me I am here my quest to get a kitten, You see, My brother is allergic, and my goal is by the end of the year to get a cat, Such as a siberian or something if hes not allergic or has a very little alergic reaction plus, Wiping down the furiniture, Putting This cream/spray on the animals skin everyday that gets rid of FDV1 or whatever its called, Giving Cats Weekly Bath or atleast clean it to some degree, Buy a Hepa Air Filter

but, Enough of that, One of my obsessions has been cats and 3 years ago my parents thought It was a phase, but I've obviously grown out of it, We want one dirley bad, but my brother is allergic, I would never get one if it bothered my brother so I'm looking for a Allergy Free Enviorment, I will get Fur Samples for atleast a month of a cat I want to adopt and keep testing, No or very very low reaction and We'll definitly get the cat.

Its exciting because I've wanted for so long and I might finnaly be able to get one soon, So I came here to get help on my journey I hope to learn alot.

welcome to TCS it's great to see someone so enthusiastic im 20 and got a kitty about 4 months ago, then 5 days ago we added another kitty to our fur family i know what it's like when allergies get in the way as i have asthma so have to be careful about cat fur, but it's very touching that you obviously care very deeply about your brother good luck, i will keep my fingers crossed for you

Welcome, Peter! I hope things work out well for you and your family to get a cat I think you can get a lot of good information here on what to do if you get a new cat. Keeping my fingers crossed for you and I hope that you let us know if things work out.

Hello Peter & welcome to TCS. I live in Australia & a couple of weeks ago on a morning talk show, the host spoke to a fellow in the States via satelite. He was breeding allergy proof cats. He had a white one with him but said they come in several colors. Maybe someone on the forums knows what I'm talking about & can give you a name.
