Don't you love those big teeth that they show off and didn't it scare the heck out of you the first time you saw them play like that!?!?!?!?

Great pictures all. These are my littermate brothers, Sam (red) and Spike (black).

The day that Sam and Spike were reunited after a 30 day separation (we adopted Sam first then went back to adopt his brother when it was obvious he needed a dog friend):

A few months later, not really fighting, but sharing their bone:

As adult dogs, still play fighting:

And my all time favorite. Yes, my DH jumps into the fray and play fights with them. The funny thing is that they never ever come close to touching him with their teeth. They make a point of only nipping each other. You can see Sam almost smiling he is so happy that DH has joined in on their fun.

......but I have been know to get into the fun of play fighting. This was before we went back to adopt Spike and someone had to teach Sam how to play fight like a dog. I was the likely candidate at the time!

we had a pretty good conversation that day: arrrrrr, arrrgh, grrrrr, woof!

Great photos everyone!

Natalie - love the "bitey faces". Macy looks ferocious.

MomofMany - that shot with your husband is the best ever!
How wonderful that you went back and adopted Spike for Sam.
The shots I posted are of two client's dogs that I brought together for a playdate.

Pami - Snowball definitely needs a cute little brother to beat up on. To see them chasing each other round and playfighting is such fun.

Dixie Darlin - Jake looks like he plays well with his kitty friends.
He has a lovely coat.

Thanks!

They've come a loooooong way from when we first adopted Jake.
When we first brought Jake home, Tiger went backwards up the curtain in a fit

Tiger was NOT happy about Jake and would growl, hiss and swat at him.
Now, they're the best of friends.

I REALLY want to steal that golden puppy! I wanna ad my very very odd picture! 2 Newfie puppies at work. We found out that there is a very good chance they are from the same litter! But the owners arent real sure, we need to ask next time they come to work!

And Ginny the chocolate lab puppy and maybe a cocker? Not real sure.
