It's funny you say that.
My sister's lived with thier mother and only visited 1 weekend a month so I really didn't see or grow up with them.
My brother lived with us and would go to his dad's every other weekend so I think that's why I am closer to him even though he's 11years older.
We moved to florida 17 years ago so I pretty much grew up here while they all stayed in Ky. They were all grown, married and had kids of thier own so I didn't talk to them much. I was raised as an only child (prolly why I'm a brat
I really wasn't close enough to call them about boyfriends, girl problems or make-up tips like alot of my friends did with thier sisters.
They're both (my sisters, not brother) are very jealous of mine and my kids relationship with our dad over it all too. So much so that last month when my sister came to visit she got mad that I walked up to our dad at the flea market and jokingly said "Hey, buy me a soda too" and he did.. She walked away and didn't talk to me the rest of the day.. when she did she said "You're 28yrs old and can't buy your own soda?" I told her "No, I'm 28yrs old and was joking with dad and he did it. You're just too uptight to ask him"
WOW..... How did I get into spilling all that out?

I have 3 siblings. We are all 4 years apart. And older brother, an older sister, me, & a younger sister.
Both my sisters hate me & have repeatedly told me everyone's lives would be better if I killed myself. My brother & I get along very well.

When I was pregnant with my younger son she wanted me to adopt him out to her because SHE didn't feel like I could raise a child... Um.. HELLO!? I had a 4yr old at the time who was definatly NOT being neglected, abused or underfed

I had 2 brothers, one is deceased, and I don't even know where the other one is. He thinks he is better that the rest of his family, so good riddance.

Both of my sisters have HUGE mental issues. I remember, in high school, being so scared of my older sister, that I'd lock myself in my bedroom & put my dresser behind the door. I stared at the window fearing she would come in & kill me. I was just too afraid to say anything.

i have 3 younger sisters,
first one is 4 years younger then me, then 6 years younger then 14 years younger. im closest to the eldest of the 3, then sam (6 year younger) lives in bolton now and my baby sister comes to stay with me a lot.

I have 1 brother. I am the oldest and we don't get along at all. We don't even talk and we live in the same house. He is one of those people that thinks he is better than everyone and I can't stand him.
I was an only child for 15 years, then along came my Brother. Hes in 5th grade now, whenever i'm with him, people tend to think hes my child. Our mom is going to be 58 when he graduates high school

One older sister. We didn't always see eye to eye growing up. She was the rebellious one I was the angel (no lightning please). Now that we are both older and wiser we are close. She is 4 years older than me.
I am the oldest grandchild out of the entire family, both sides. I have 2 siblings, my sister is 2 years younger and my half-brother is 19 years younger than me. My sister seems to think that she is my mother
and tries to boss me around. We haven't spoken for a while because the last time she called me, I was at work, trying to get my stuff caught up at the end of the shift and she started telling me about the Fair and some other crap. I told her that I did not have time for her then and she hung up on me. Maybe I could have phrased it better, but she knows what my job consists of and when it is NOT a good time to call.

I'm the baby) So all in all there's 6 of us. But we didn't all live together at the same time. My mom was divorced 3x and has a child from each marriage. My dad was divorced twice- Debbie was from his first marriage and I was from his second.

Are you close to them? I am very close to Kimmy (my 2nd oldest sister) - she lives down the road from me- we see each other just about every single day- she's one of my best friends in the whole world! I love her to pieces!
I'm pretty close to Monica too- but since she lives in Hernando, Mississippi- i don't get to see her as much as i would like.
Debbie- i don't have a lot to do with- she has a lot of mental problems and has really just gone off the deep end lately. Colin and I are considering trying to get custody of my litle niece and nephew- but that's an entirely different story. Debbie was abused very badly by her maternal mom when she was little and my step mom it really hurt her and she's never been the same.
Brandy-I don't have anything to do with- she started doing drugs when she was pregnant with her prescious little baby boy- and as a result he was born severly deformed/etc. She's a wreck. I don't have anything to do with her because she's a druggie. It's sad. I reached out to her and tried to help her get the help she needed- but she just doesn't care.
Jerry- he's almost as bad as Brandy- into drugs/always getting into trouble. Colin wound up arresting him a few months ago when he was driving drunk through our city. That was the first time he had met my brother
Jerry I do see once in a while- but not that often. He is trying to make positive changes for the better- and i want to be there for him. The reason Brandy and Jerry are like they are has a lot to do with my horrid step mom and the way they were raised. It's sad. I love Jerry to pieces though- we were really close growing up (we're only 5 days apart birthdate wise) and it breaks my heart to see him making stupid choices.

I'm the oldest of three kids and have two younger brothers. Tom is two years younger than me and Kevin is 10 years younger. Both of them are happily married with two children each. We're not close in the sense that we hang out like friends would but we see each other fairly often at family gatherings and get along great. We're definitely there for each other if one of us needs something, though. I've always gotten along well with my brothers. They kind of made it their mission in life, especially Kevin, to tease and pester their older sister and that still continues today.
