As we prepare for our new kittens, I continue to get a laugh out of the main difference between cats and dogs. We owned a dog for 14 years. Whenever we had a question along of the lines of "why does the dog...?", the answer was almost always clear and specific.
When we ask cat questions, the answers start out specific, but usually include something like "who really knows why cats do that..." or something like that.
I am excited about the kittens coming to the house, and this is a big reason why. Every day brings the potential for something very different and exciting. Somehow, not knowing the "why" of everything makes it fun...
Let the games begin...
