I'm putting together some "kitten kits" for the kittens so their new owner will have some samples and coupons to start off with.

So far I have 2 kitten starter kits from Purina(the purina proplan kit and the kitten chow ), Nature's Logic is sending me some samples, coupons, and brochures, and Castor and Pollux is sending me a 3-lb bag of food for each kitten.
I'm still waiting for responses from some other places.

Do ya'll have any suggestions on what I should ad to my "kitten kits"?

In the past I have done that with foster puppies and kittens. I've included a CD (but you could even do a scrapbook or something), with weekly pictures of the babies since birth so the new owners can see how they've grown. I've also kept track of their weights and medical care and given that to the new owners as well.
Also, favorite toys or treats. I included a package of little toy mice in my kitten packages. I can get a package of three at the Family Dollar for $1.

Great ideas! I also emailed a couple toy companies to see if they could send me some coupons.

The purina kitten packets come with the forms and stuff so I can fill out all the medical info on the kittens. Also, the packages came with a coupon for a free bag of each kind of food and also a small baggy for each packet so I can use the coupons and fill up one baggy per kitten.
However, since they're going to both go to the same person I gueses I'll just use the coupons and give the person the whole containers of food.
That way I can use the baggies for putting litter in.

These little kittens are going to have a life-time supply of kitten food, lol.

I can definately do the picture cd as well! What great ideas!

Don't forget to include your detailed contact information and in the event you move or change phone numbers/email addresses, the contact information of someone who always knows how to reach you (I include my Mom's contact info ... if Mom doesn't know how to reach me, it's a safe bet that I am dead) in the event there is a problem.

Good idea, I'll also add me and hubby's info. I have 4 different email adresses(long story, lol), so I'm bound to always have at least one

If you have had them since they were born then for cats without a pedigree it would be really nice to have a little birth certificate or something with their date of birth and birth weight and colour and maybe a photo of when they were very little if that is possible, doesn't have to be anything fancy but if you have a colour printer you could do something really nice at minimum cost and effort - and will be really appreciated by your kittens' new humans.

Obvious more practical stuff should include vaccination record, a sample of the food they are on (3 days worth of food gives the adopter time to go out and find some of the same), a toy or snuggle-blanket, an info sheet with basics about diet and care, and of course your contact details.

If they are not going to be neutered when they leave you then a neuter contract stating that they remain your legal property until a signed letter is received from a vet saying they have been neutered is a good idea.

Oh! A Blanket! I can do those! I LOVE to sew animal bedding!

A birth certificate...awww....that would be so sweet.

Oh yeah, they're both getting fixed before they go to their new homes, that's for sure!
