Hi everyone!
I have always had cats in my life, but this is my first time (since i've been living on my own) that i've had my own cats. I decided to adopt (save some lives) but also because I wanted older cats since I work 9-5 and I wanted to adopt a pair so they have company all the time. I found the perfect most wonderful pair of cats from a local shelter. A 7 year old DSH tuxedo female, Kismet and a 7 year old Siamese male, Cello, who is a very unique dark lilac point colour. They have been nothing but a joy, and this forum has already been so useful to me (had a UTI issue that got cleared up very fast thanks to the advice here). The siamese was declawed when I got him and it breaks my heart to see him trying to scratch and claw, I swore I'd never declaw a cat, but I wasn't going to adopt him because someboy else in his former life did it.
I'm very happy that there are so many people out there that love and respect cats as much as I do!
