Lack of cat sleep!

OK...so Cleo's tongue sticks out all the time...but the other thing is the chick HARDLY sleeps! I am used to Ashley sleeping like 10a-2ish...then again from like 6-8ish....then again like all night once we go to bed and gets up for a while in the morning. OH NO! Not Cleo! My mom tells me she will sleep in her favorite chair all night, but other times she will sleep for maybe 15minutes, but then she is back up and chasing birds through the window and doing her cat thing!

Is this normal and/or healthy?

Just like people cats all have different sleep needs.

Can you define "manic"? You mean...like extreme one way or the other? She can be a VERY wild woman! She was all hyped up when I stopped over there today, but then she crashed on me for about 10 minutes and was off racing down the hallways again.
