I noticed lately her tummy seems really hard. She was fixed a few months ago and had what they said was a bad infection in her uterus? (for the life of me i cant think of what its called)

Anyways....she acts normal, but any reason why her tummys so hard?

Pymetra is likely the infection...

Is the hardness in the area of the spay>>>??

In any case I would advise a vet check...

You said she has been spayed?are you sure? cats that have been spayed cant get pyometra, did you own her when she was spayed? If she was spayed when she had the pyometra she should have been given antibiotics to clear up the remnants of the infection,You should take her into the vet asap.

Sorry it took so long to reply

If she had the pyometra when she was spayed and she had a full coarse of intibiotics then I cant see it being that because it should have cleared up but she may still have problems.
I do think you should take her back to the vet though because having a "hard" tummy really isnt normal and the earlier she is seen will mean a better outlook for her.

How is she now? has she still the hard tum?
