I heard "Australia" by The Shins on the radio today and it made me smile

So, I've decided I want to make a playlist/cd of songs that make you happy! Those really smile-inducing up-beat tunes. The other one that sprung to my mind was "Light and Day" by Polyphonic Spree (how do you not smile?)

So...what is your favourite happy song?? I'll post the full list when it's completed
Thanks!

Happy songs for me are Sweet Dreams by the eurithmics and You give Love a bad name by Bon Jovi, or pretty much ANYTHING that we played in my high school band. They make me happy, but I'm a dork.
You could always put Dont Worry Be Happy

Since I listen to a lot of classic hard rock and metal, most of what I listen to tends to be more reflective/thought invoking.

But the silliest stuff would have to be some of songs by Edguy.
Their song Superheros always makes me laugh, especially the ridiculous video for the song.

SeikimaII - Pharaoh no you ni (聖飢魔II - ファラオのように) is rather upbeat, as is the entire album the song is off of, and always makes me smile... and usually sing along.

Do you have a link for that last one? Can't find anything about it!

There is a popular song that goes:
"I don't wanna be anything other than what I've been trying to be lately, all I have to do is think of me & I'm doin fine" Not sure who sings it, but I love it.
I have alot of favorites & try to stay away from negative screaming music, but that is the first one that comes to mind.

I looked all over japanese store sites to see if there was a sample up, seems there isn't since the album it's off of is out of print.
And strangely the song didn't appear to be up on youtube at all.

I could have clipped the song out of one the dvds I have, but I don't have enough space on my hard drives for that
so I dug through my live & tv clip folder and found a clip that had the song it in.

Japanese hard rock/heavy metal band, 1983-1999.
Well known for their being rather eccentric with their costumes, image, and staging (including over the top props, fire breathing, and the vocalist singing while standing on his head
).

You might think you don't know this but I've heard it used as background to so many sports events highlights that I'd be suprised if you hadn't
