I cook the sam meals over and over for dinner. Spaghetti, hotdogs, hamburger helper, pork chops, baked ziti. Sometimes we have differnt stuff but not very often.
What do you guys have on a regular basis that is easy to make? Maybe a few NEW recipes would help me out of this cooking slump.

any meat in this easy marinade: 1c water, 1/2c soy sauce, 2T brown sugar, chopped or minced onion to taste. Put into a zip lock bag with meat of your choice and place in the fridge overnight. This can be baked or fried in the marinade. Serve with orental style veggies and rice! Yumm!

Tuna caserole! Boil your noodles until tender. Add a can of condenced cream of mushroom soup, a drained can of tuna, and a drained can of peas. Viola you are done! For variation you can top with cheese, or bread crumbs, you can change the meat (pre-cooked), or the vegetable.

Boston Market makes a frozen dinner that is just turkey medallions and gravy. We have that made in sandwiches with broiled fries. The whole things takes about 15 minutes.

I had that recipe *many* times during my cheap University days!! You can make a big batch then it will take you through the week. I'm a spice person so I always made it hot.

Butter prawns is a current fav.

Prawns cooked in a wok with garlic, olive oil, and a touch of butter.

Eat with noodles or rice. King prawns are best, as you only need a few big ones to satisfy. Serve with a green salad or a spicy thai-style mango salad.

Movin' on up!
Chicken breasts
1 can cream of chicken soup
onion, garlic, sage, thyme, rosemary, basil, to taste.

Saute onion and garlic (butter, margarine or oil - your choice) until onion is slightly brown.

Add chicken breats - brown on both sides - remove and drain.

Drain oil from garlic and onion.

In blender, combine: chicken soup, 1/2 can of white wine or water and spices. Blend until smooth.

Put chicken, garlic and onion back into skillet, pour sauce over all. Cover and simmer, over low heat, 15-20 minutes.

Serve with rice, pouring sauce over rice and chicken.

I use 2 split breasts (4 pieces), for the two of us.

This can be made with any cream soup: cheddar cheese, cream of broccoli or mushroom, etc.

ha ha "toast". That sounds like something I would do.

I've got this excelllent pizza recipe, but I warn you It's Filling! You get all your regular stuff out that you want for pizza ie; pepperoni, cheese, tomato sauce...etc. Plus, a few pounds of hamburger. Now there is no bread in this, so all of you on the "atkin's diet" will love this recipe. You take your hamburger and add 2 eggs, 1 oxo cube, and all the spices you want. Then you take a circle pie pan (9" or 10") and spread the hamburger thinly(about 1/2") all around and up the sides. (you will have extra, so make two). Then you put some tomato sauce on the raw hamburger, then some cheese and all the rest of your toppings. Put in oven at 350F for 20 mins, drain fat and grease into a disposable container and place back in over for another 20 mins. Again, drain, and cut into pie pieces and serve. It's pizza, with all your vitamins and guaranteed it will be all gone.

NOTE; when draining, be careful that the pizza doesn't slide out.

Good idea, I hardly ever marinade meats. I will try doing that soon. I look up stuff on the cooking sites sometimes but I always choose the same things when I go to the store.
Toast is sounding pretty good right now

Actually one of my favorite snacks (or breakfast foods) is "cheese toast". Take slices of cheddar cheese, put on white bread, broil until cheese is melted! YUMMY!

Well there are times when I wish Hamburger Helper was a studly lookin man wearing an apron and nothing else on helping me in the kitchen- BUT- in reality it is a box of stuff you mix with cooked hamburger. They have all flavors you can buy, noodles, and sauces come with it. I ate it so much in my first marriage (that and kraft mac-n-cheese and spam) I swore I would never eat that stuff again! But it is quick and simple and if you use good cuts of meat, quite good.

My favorite flavor of Hamburger Helper is Stroganoff. You take a package of hamburger brown it and just add the sauce pack and noodles and you get beef stroganoff. It tastes pretty good.
They also make Tuna Helper which is pretty good too.
