Is he really grown up at just a year? (I hope that's not too stupid a question.)

For show purposes he's "grown up" but he still can mature/fill out for another 6-12 months according to his breeder

Oh I see! Just curious because I have a cat that will continue growing until he's 4 I understand!

Depends on the breed - oriental/siamese/rex types will be full grown at about a year - maybe 14 months. A maine coon/ragdoll would be growing till 3-4 yrs old.

He's gorgeous
I always enjoy seeing his photos. It's nice to see him growing up. Interesting as well to see his colour as well. I've not seen any spotted chocolate cats in the flesh so far so it's all coming through photos
