My foster kittens are a month old now. Today, out of the blue, the calico decides to climb the scratching post all the way to the top. It's about 3 feet high! Once she got to the top, she was like, ok, now what?!

While I'm watching her, I look over to her brother who is down at mom's bowl chomping on a morsel of kitten chow. He only has like 4 teeth, but he was working it hard!

Just a couple of weeks ago they could barely walk, barely keep their eyes open! Now they're running around, climbing, testing the kitten food!

I love when they get to this crazy stage!

Sort of unrelated...today at the shelter I volunteer for, I was helping someone who wanted to adopt a cat. She has 3 cats and a dog and wanted to add another young adult cat to the clan. She told me that she's, "fond of the curtains and could do without a kitten." It's so true! I've been fostering one litter after another for over a year and my curtains are destroyed! My current kittens are almost at that curtain destroying stage...that's what made me think of that story!

Aaaaaw!! You're having meowmy growing pains!! It's amazing watching them go from teeny fuzzballs into hopping, wild little bundles of fur!

What a lovely, cute, exciting time. I can hardly believe that its nearly a year since Blossom was at that stage.

The little boy just discovered the water dish! It's really like they just grew up tonight!

Awwww....You're getting me so excited about when MY kitties are able to run around, lol. My 2 orphans will be 3 weeks old in 2 days and they are already awesome "waddlers". lol. Of course, their bellies are so big that they drag on the ground the whole time, ROFL!

My favorite part is when they "poof". Lol. It seems like they get scared of everything and will poof up and hunch their backs like lieelt halloween kitties. I can't wait!

I want to see some pics!(please?)

Wow - better watch that calico

I've had the rex kittens attempt to climb the cage bars and get out at 4-5 weeks old - they didn't do it till about a week or so later
