How is it that two kitties like 8-Bit and Scratch can get along for days on end and then every now and then there's a beat down.
I'll walk you through what just happened. 8-Bit was napping on the top of his kitty tower. He looks out over his entire territory and all is well. Then he feels it. The tower begins to shake and sway. It's Scratch climbing it. From a human perspective this is what I heard.
Two thumps hitting the floor. (8-Bit will knock Scratch from the top of the tower to the bottom. It's not that hard Scratch isn't exactly graceful)
Scratch scampering away (he gallops)
8-Bit licks his front paw and then takes off like a gray cat on fire. He takes down Scratch like a Lioness takes down a gazelle.
Scratch screams like a little girl. (Really it sounds like a two year old screaming)
8-Bit rips a large gray and black chunk of fur from his rump.
Scratch runs and hides under our large dresser.
