When I came home from work today I ran into my downstairs neighbor and her new Yorkie just leaving for a walk.
Dino, her Yorkshire terrier puppy is a little doll, and of coarse being the animal lover that I am I had to pick him up and give him a cuddle.
Just as I went to put him down I glanced up at my living room window and low and behold I am being scrutinized by two very disgruntled looking felines...
There question was obviously clear from their dagger eyed stares.
"Just what do you think you doing picking someone other then us up."

Needless to say when I finally came into the house I got a very frosty reception. Even my usually "How are my babies tonight" was met with a contemptuous glance as they strolled off ignoring me into the bedroom.

Oh oh, I see a trip to Pet Value, some new toys and treats, and some serious kitty butt kissing in my future.

I think that makes it pretty obvious who is in charge of my household.

Hee, that's so cute. I'm always worried if I'm out or something and pet a dog or cat that when I get home my cat will smell the other animal on me and get all upset, but he never has. I guess I'm lucky.

That's a riot.
My lot don't give me much grief. I can talk to whoever I want, as long as I don't try to bring that other creature home, though I do get sniffed fairly thoroughly.

LoL I'm the same way! I come home from work and they just give me evil looks until I change!
I'm sure they'll forgive you before the nights over!

They'll let you know who's boss.
I would seriously avoid the butt-kissing though, that just ain't right!

Oh dear, that is just asking for trouble, petting another animal in view of your cats!

I remember the time I was stroking the ginger cat who sunbathes on the wall outside and looked up - to see Radar sitting in the window with a look of utter contempt and hurt on his face. He usually goes nuts rubbing against the glass when he sees me outside, but not on that occasion, oh no

Oh how funny!!
Definitely sounds like you're at the top of their list right now and I don't mean the good one.

Well I glad to say that the boys have forgiven me for my inconsiderate behavior, How dare I pet a Dog!!!!

After a half a bag of treats, and some Fancy Feast salmon pate, they have decided that maybe I am worth keeping around after all.
