Hi Everyone,

I've been kinda invisible this week because it was my first week back to school and I'm teaching 2 new grade levels so it was kinda stressful.

But I'm here now and I'm going to the cat show in Portland today.

I didn't know you were a teacher. What grades/subjects do you teach?

I always wanted to be a teacher, until I realized I would never be able to keep discipline in my class. So I gave that idea up.

i teach music to grades 5-8 and chorus.

I always wanted to be a teacher, until I became a teacher. And now I want nothing more than to not be a teacher......most days, not every day.

My boyfriend really wants to teach music, but he worries about how unappreciated of a position it is. Hopefully he's going back to school this quarter to start working toward it.

It really depends on the district you teach in - some districts value it more than others.
