Hello..

My 31 day old kittens (with mom) have no interest in weaning. I know it's still early, so I'm not concerned. What advice do you have on weaning?

Thanks!

You really dont' need to do anything. You should have kitten food out for the mom available at all times and eventually she will lead the kittens over and she will show them how to eat it. People worry about making mush for them and you can, but the mom will take care of things. They need to stay with her until 10-12 weeks anyways and if they are only 4 weeks old, whats the rush? Let mom take care of things, that is what she is there for. Oh and they can also nurse and eat cat food at the same time, if they still want to snack on mom up until 10 weeks or so, that is fine.
