I think she is mad

I went away for a week, now Lucky just keeps attacking me, she growls and hisses, doesn't want to cuddle , I think she is mad at me

Did you bring her any treats or toys when you came back?

Was she well taken care of while you were gone?

Did you give her a couple of days notice that you were going away and leave her with your shirt to keep her company?

She probably is mad, glad it's not me!

I brought all the pets new toys, she also got a new litter box, she was pampered the whole time we were gone, she is finally sitting beside me, but usually she is sitting on me

Don't worry, she will come around.

Awww, she is making up! Arn't cats just wonderful. Maybe tomorrow she will be sitting on you.

Inside her little cat brain are all these plans--today I will sit beside her---tomorrow, I will sit on her lap since she did try her best to make up for not being home for a WHOLE WEEK.

And I bet your cat is thinking hard on what she is going to do to you the next time you go away.

Whenever our kitties get mad at us, if we've already done the nice bit and treat bit, we ignore them and act like we don't care. And boy do them come around quick! It's hard to do - but acting like you don't want attention from them seems to be the best way to get it sometimes. Cats are SUCH contrarians!
