Just a question...but what does 8-bit mean in computer language?

Um, it's a really really geeky joke. Having 8-bits means that you have enough gray to make a black and white picture. He was a gray cat, so we thought it fit.

He's also named after the 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment system. He was the exact same shade of gray as the bottom of it, so we thought that was funny too.

Wow, I'm letting my geek flag fly high and proud tonight.


Scratch Fury Destroyer of Worlds is named after a cat in a webcomic. His name, although much more complex, actually is simpler to explain.
